چکیده

This paper deals with the development of a medical support model that can be used as prototype to study anatomy femur and for biomechanical research experimentation related bone plates. CT scan data are converted into 3D using MIMICS software imported finite-element analysis. The materials selected fabrication were PEEK CF (infused chopped carbon fibre). was analysed ANSYS® WORKBENCH® 2021 R2 different material properties. By conducting subsequent FE analysis, optimal finally arrived at. Using 3D-printing technology, fabricated by spool better properties suited bone. results compared experimental closely matched real human femur, it substitute investigations plates instead femur.

A polycaprolactone bio-nanocomposite bone substitute fabricated for femoral fracture approaches: Molecular dynamic and micromechanical Investigation

The application of porous bio-nanocomposites polymer has greatly increased in the treatment of boneabnormalities and bone fracture. Therefore, predicting the mechanical properties of these bio-nanocompositesare very important prior to their fabrication. Investigation of mechanical properties like (elasticmodulus and hardness) is very costly and time-consuming in experimental t...

investigating the feasibility of a proposed model for geometric design of deployable arch structures

deployable scissor type structures are composed of the so-called scissor-like elements (sles), which are connected to each other at an intermediate point through a pivotal connection and allow them to be folded into a compact bundle for storage or transport. several sles are connected to each other in order to form units with regular polygonal plan views. the sides and radii of the polygons are...

Evaluation of New Biphasic Calcium Phosphate Bone Substitute: Rabbit Femur Defect Model and Preliminary Clinical Results

Autogenous bone grafting, used to repair bone defects, is limited and the donor site can experience complications. Compared to autogenous bone graft, artificial bones have different porosity, which might make them suitable alternatives to bone grafts. Here, two porous biphasic calcium phosphate bone substitutes, namely Bicera™ and Triosite™, are used in an animal study and clinical practice to ...

Three-dimensional bio-printing: A new frontier in oncology research

Current research in oncology deploys methods that rely principally on two-dimensional (2D) mono-cell cultures and animal models. Although these methodologies have led to significant advancement in the development of novel experimental therapeutic agents with promising anticancer activity in the laboratory, clinicians still struggle to manage cancer in the clinical setting. The disappointing tra...
